Welcome to our November 2009 Features!
The Clark Sisters-LIVE One Last Time!
EMI Gospel
On the highly anticipated new EMI Gospel release, "Live - One Last Time," the legendary Clark Sisters bring
together their dynamic riffs, soulful scats and untouched harmonies as they continue to inspire and influence the music industry
with their first joint recording since 1994.
As pioneers of the contemporary gospel format, The Clark Sisters are credited with helping to bring gospel music
to the mainstream. Their latest collaboration of new songs and old favorites rekindles the magic of the famed "Clark Sound"
as one of the most anticipated gospel albums of the year hits stores on April 10.
The album is a potpourri of uplifting and touching songs of hope and features the debut single written by Karen Clark Sheard
- "Blessed & Highly Favored," - a breathtaking and beautifully written piece that cements her place as one of the
great songwriters of her era. Another uplifting and joyous single, "Living’," was written expressly for the
Clark Sisters by Stellar and Grammy Awards winning Gospel artist and producer Donald Lawrence.
"The first time that Donald played ‘Living’ for us, we felt exactly like we did the first time that Twinkie
played ‘You Brought the Sunshine’ for the rest of us," says Jacky Clark-Chisholm. "We were blown away! It’s
such a happy song, and we just could not stop singing it. It’s us plain and simple."
"Live – One Last Time" once again establishes The Clark Sisters preeminent place as world-class Gospel
icons. Along with writing contributions from Clark Sheard and Lawrence, who wrote two songs for the album, Twinkie Clark,
who has long been group’s chief song writer offered 12 of the 16 featured songs on the album, along with Dorinda who
wrote "Looking To Get There."
One of the album’s showstoppers is the landmark cut that elevated the group into a musical class of their own, "You
Brought The Sunshine." The remake of this gospel classic is as fresh, powerful and relevant as it was when it was introduced
to the world back in 1981.
After 16 albums and millions of sales to their credit, this encore one-time recording is the perfect ending to what is
one of gospel music’s most phenomenal success stories. All of The Clark Sisters have had tremendous successes. In 1999,
The Clark Sisters were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Each sister has also experienced success as solo
artists with Twinkie Clark, Karen Clark Sheard and Dorinda Clark Cole all released respective solo projects in 2002. Eldest
sister Jacky Clark Chisholm released her solo debut in 2005.
The Clark Sisters are renowned for their unique vocal styling dubbed as "The Clark Sound." They have inspired the artistic
vocal styles of dozens of artists, including Mariah Carey, Mary J Bilge, Mary, Kelly Price and Faith Evans, to name a few.
"The Clark Sisters have been inspiring music lovers for many years and yet they are still young, vibrant and singing better
than ever. All of us at EMI Gospel consider it an honor to work with them as they release the exciting live album the Gospel
Music world has been waiting for" says Ken Pennell, president of EMI Gospel
The biggest-selling female Gospel group in history has truly pushed themselves to new heights both as writers and as performers.
The ministry of The Clark Sisters shows no sign of slowing down in the new millennium.

J. Moss-V2
Gospocentric Records
A fitting analogy for singer/songwriter/producer J Moss' eagerly anticipated new project, V2 (PAJAM/GospoCentric/Zomba
Gospel), would be New Orleans' chef Emeril Lagasse's signature exclamation, - "BAM - Kick it up a notch!" It's a heated, high-tech
explosion of shape-shifting contemporary Gospel that exhausts roads high and low to reach listeners of all ages - as only
J Moss can reach them. As one third of the phenomenal PAJAM Productions team (who've made hits for a diverse set of
artists that includes Patti LaBelle, Trinitee 5:7 and N'Sync) and with his own penetrating J Moss Project CD under his belt,
J is a youthful, energetic and worthy Gospel messenger for today's generation.
V2 is packed with slam jams of praise such as the infectious hit-bound "Jump" and "Dance;" then moves to heartfelt declarations
such as "Abundantly" and "Loving You;" then soothes with prayerfully reassuring odes like "I'm Not Perfect" and "Nobody."
He has even come up with a fresh spin on the Gospel standard "Operator!" And with the all-access pass that J and PAJAM have
earned thanks to the string of highly influential projects they have produced in both Gospel and urban pop music, he has assembled
an impressive guest list of talent that includes labelmate trio 21:03 and Kierra "Kiki" Sheard (on "Jump");
Byron Cage and Pastor Marvin Winans (on "We Love You"); "PDA" of PAJAM (on "Florida"); Kirk Franklin (on "Dance/777-9311");
and Anthony Hamilton (on "Let It Go").
"I'm beefing up everything," J proclaims - "my vocal chops, my dancing chops and my ministry chops. I spend more quality
time talking to God and more study time in the books so that everything I say is backed up in the word or testimony. Our mindset
going into this recording was to be way more cutting-edge. From the lyrical content and music production to the overall tone
of the record, I wanted the intensity to be double what my last album was and to show growth. When people sense an artist
is growing, they feel they're growing along with them.
"When God gave me my last album, The J Moss Project, he was speaking to all of us through me in terms of my ministry at
that time. That voice that spoke to me the first time has spoken again, so now we have V2 – volume two – and the
messages, again, are what God needs me to tell people at this time."
J's steadfast faith is on particularly poignant display as he croons in sweet falsetto on the plaintive Latin-tinged "Know
Him": ‘How can people live without Him / How can people pray and doubt him / How could you hate things about him / When
you don't know him / He gave His only son to save us / Would you have done the same for haters / No, I don't need to beg but
I will / Until I can get through to know Him.’
Beyond the songs that speak to the spiritual fortification of all, J also reveals more about himself this time. How he
works through his fears by keeping God's word at the forefront was the inspiration behind the standout, "Afraid." "I wrote
that song for the scare-dy cat in me," he chuckles. "When folks start talking about blowing up planes or nuclear war, I get
uneasy. I mean, I'm on four or five planes a week! I've had my share of crazy thoughts, but I had to tell myself, 'Stop this!
The Bible says that God has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit of power, love and a sound mind.' I had to get
myself together so I can portray that. So let's all stop being afraid and let's lean more on what our Bible classes have instilled
in us to trust, which is faith in God."
J also sings to The Lord, apologizing for his own shortcomings on the bluesy and soulful "I'm Not Perfect," where he cries
out ‘I’m not perfect, but I’m trying.’ And he isn't shy about letting people know when they have overstepped
their bounds in passing judgment on his life on the fiery bonus track "Everybody Ain't Got a Word." "I got tired of people
saying God compelled them to tell me something about my life. It was happening way too much. I'd get a word on Wednesday from
one person in Detroit then another one on Thursday from someone else in L.A. that completely cancelled Wednesday's out. God
revealed to me, 'I'm not talking that much!' When God spoke in The Bible, it was very strategic. People have taken it way
too far and it's hurting more than helping. I'm not here to question anybody's prophetic vision, but don't say anything to
me unless you know for a fact you got it from The Lord. And know that I'm going to challenge it back through Heaven and get
my own confirmation."
Easily the most controversial track on V2 is the searing and funky "Florida," the title not referring to ‘The Dirty
South’ or a United State, but a state of mind. "I was having a recurring dream," J witnesses, "…a feel good kind
of dream that I wondered why I kept having. I prayed on it and asked God, 'What are you trying to tell me?' After all that
torture, He revealed to me that Florida was my flesh. Everybody has a vice - gambling, drinking, smoking, cheating, etc. God
said, 'Your flesh will pick at you and tempt you. You have to resist the devil, but you can't do it alone. You have to do
it through me.' My thoughts were, 'Lord, I know you gave me this and I'm being obedient to share this message as you wish.
But this is not going to sit too well with a lot of people.' Not long after, God revealed that 'This thing you're writing
is going to feel awkward. But don't worry about it, there will be an audience to hear it. They won't be willing to accept
this from anybody else but you, J. Moss.'"

Bishop Neal Roberson-Awesome God
Blackberry Records
Neal Roberson has released his brand new album "Awesome God". The title cut "Awesome God" as well as
the SMASH HIT "It's On They Way" are hitting the radio air waves with rave reviews. Pastor Cornelius (Neal) Roberson
is a native of Durant, MS, and moved to Milwaukee, WI, as a young man. He was called to the ministry in June of 1990. He has
served as senior pastor of Victorius Christian Worship Center of Rockford, IL, since April 1996. Under the leading of the
Holy Spirit, Pastor Neal Roberson has successfully tripled the size of his congregation.
Singing gospel music is nothing
new for Pastor Neal. He sang with childrens' choirs and youth choirs beginning at an early age. In 2001, Pastor Neal signed
with Blackberry Records and recorded "Delighted".
On May 21, 2000, the Lord decided to take his brother, Michael Roberson,
home to be with Him. Pastor Neal stated that after the taking of his brother, he had a difficult time releasing him. He began
to pray and ask God for help. He states that one night God spoke to him and said, "Whatever you give up to me, you'll regain
it again". Then the spirit of the Lord inspired Pastor Neal to record "That's When He Blessed Me," which is track number 8
on "Delighted". Pastor Neal states, "So when I gave him up. That's When He Blessed Me". You will find this release an inspiration
from beginning to end.
Roberson's previous Blackberry releases 'My Story, My Testimony' and 'Delighted' have been well received in gospel circles.

Jason Champion-Reflections
EMI Gospel
Life for Jason Champion
is no coincidence; The Cleveland, Ohio native, husband and father of two sons has spent over a decade honoring his faith and
commitment in God to illuminate his path. While the journey has included many stumbling blocks along the way, he has continued
to persevere. Utilizing his natural gift of song, Champ, as he is ironically called, prepares for a glorious victory with
his inspirational debut on Brooks Entertainment Group/ EMI Gospel entitled Reflections.
With Reflections, Champion’s
desire is to touch souls the way God has touched his life. “I hope that this message and music will affect someone,
some way, some how. The title track, co-written and produced by Gerald Haddon, Champion’s former roommate and brother
to gospel great Deitrick Haddon, is a personal testimony for Jason Champion.
Music was present in the Champion
household, primarily from Jason’s father, an elder in the church. By the 11th grade a brief encounter with Gerald Levert
led to an audition, Jason and David became the R&B group Men At Large barely out of high school. Their self titled debut
album and their sophomore recording, One Size Fits All catapulted the young adults to the stratosphere singing. In 1996, a
still small voice spoke to Champion. “God informed me gently through his Holy Spirit that I needed to do other things
and break away from Men At Large.” Coincidently, David desired to go solo and the record label wished to sever ties.
This was Champion’s confirmation that God was in his midst and he was to exercise his obedience. A chance reintroduction
with Kirk Franklin, with whom he had been acquainted during his Men At Large days, led to Champion’s contribution on
Franklin’s Hero album and tour, beginning in March 2005. While on tour with Mary Mary, Champion became acquainted with
Erica Campbell’s husband, famed producer, Warryn Campbell. When Franklin decided to downsize in February 2007, Champion
and Campbell stayed connected.
Campbell produced Champion, alongside his wife Erica who contributed vocals to
the uptempo, bouncy track “Always. Co-written with songwriter/producer/artist Eric Dawkins, the song thankfully “is
about being encouraged. Reflections also carries three other ageless tracks from that period in Champion’s life including
“Find A Reason,” “For Better or For Worse,” a duet with his wife, Paula and “He Is the Way.”
All Champion needed was a simple piano to convey his whole heart and love of Jesus Christ on “He Is the Way.”
As Jason Champion prepares for this next chapter in his life, he is continuing to be faithful and obedient to
the God he serves. I want to be known as a transparent person and somebody who went to bat for the underdogs.” It is
here and now, that Jason Champion is comfortable honoring his own reflection.

Supreme 7-Another Yes
T Records
The Supreme 7 was formed
in July of 1995 under the leadership of Antwione K. Peterson and Marcus A. Allen. Members included Demetrius Starling, Hason
Johnson, Willis Harris, Lamont Murphy, Xavier Brand, and David Moore. The Supreme 7 attributes there interest in music to
their parents and many groups that paved the way.
In 1999 the Lord took the group in a new direction. While Antwione
Peterson was playing for the Gospel Keynotes he was led to approach Corey Young and Kevin Thompson, who at the time were members
of the Fantastic Violinaires. He asked them to join him and the Supreme 7 to help them do great work for the Lord. The Supreme
7 represents the best of the past and present in gospel music. A multi-talented group that has remained steadfast.
In 2002 a young man named Stephen Walden, former musician for James Bolton of the Bolton Brothers joined the group. Once
again God ordered them in a new direction. But emphasizing every step they made, they put God first and He elevated them higher
and higher. The Lord has blessed the group recently with two more young men who are willing to
lift up the name of Jesus.
They are Justine Manning and Chris Bailey. The Supreme 7 have always kept God as the
heart and soul of their life and music. The Lord allowed the Supreme 7 to have some great times while ministering for Him.
They won numerous awards such as the American Gospel Quartet award, and the Luther Barnes Classic award. But there have been
some obstacles in their way, and they realize that there are many more to come. But through Christ, they can do all things.
The question has been asked on several occasions, why are you all called the Supreme 7 when there are normally 6 people
performing? Our response to them is God is always with us wherever we go. He saved us and united us together. And He will
always be the head of our ministry. So we feel with Him being in charge we are complete. The number 7 signifies completion,
so we believe this name would be very appropriate. The Supreme 7 high energy remains, showcasing
their songwriting skills and superb arranging as well as their vocals and striving to keep it in their future. The current
members include Mr. Antwione Peterson, Mr. Corey Young, Mr. Kevin Thompson, Mr. Steven Walden, Mr. Demetrius Starling, Mr.
Justine Manning, and Mr. Chris Bailey. We are a group of young men who ask for your prayers that we will be able to please
God, the source from which all blessings flow throughout the world. We are learning everyday when the devil tries to attack
us to “leave it in the hands of the Lord”. We know “He has all power in His hands”!

Trip Lee-20/20 Vision Cross Movement Records
Vision has many dynamics. Vision gives us the capability to see objects. It can help guide a lost man down unfamiliar
surroundings. It can even turn a blank canvas into a masterpiece. The Scriptures communicate that 'Without vision, people
perish'. Any sensible human can comprehend how vision is important. As inhabitants of earth how do we envision life? As
people, we are all responsible to see life through the proper perspective. But first we must see our Creator for who He is.
With his sophomore project 20/20, not only does Trip Lee
challenge all listeners to evaluate every area of life through the lens of Scripture, but also desires for the listener to
have a proper view of God and how they are to relate to Him. Trip set out to encourage seekers, as well children of the King,
to see God as He has revealed Himself. In Christian hip hop it is easy to merely focus on the horizontal necessities of the
faith. Trip Lee urges us not to forsake the importance of our vertical understanding and worship of Jehovah.
The
album 20/20 showcases a more diverse sound from a more mature artist. While serving at a local church and attending Bible
college in Philadelphia, Trip has been challenged, not only in his personal growth, but also in his contribution to the growth
of others. A southern swagger and love for the East Coast sound brings a unique stylistic mixture and the album satisfies
a diverse blend of musical tastes. 20/20 offers the listener everything from southern bass to live instrumentation. There
are feature guest appearances from all Reach artists (Lecrae, Tedashii, and Sho Baraka). Flame, JR, Diamone, Cam and shai
linne also lend their giftings to his sophomore project. Production credits range from Joe Prielozny (notable Amped Producer),
veterans DJ Official and Tony Stone, to promising newcomer G Styles. 20/20 provides the fan with 15 tracks of non-stop banging
exaltation.
Music can easily deceive the listener with aspirations of shallow and futile desires. But Trip's
primary goal is for the listener to fall more in love with God. Once we have an accurate view of God the Father, Christ the
Son and the Holy Spirit, then we can begin intimacy with Him. Trip Lee's prayer is that through the album listeners will
be introduced to Christ Jesus and His people will rejoice and reflect on His goodness.

The Murrills-Family Prayer
Verity/Zomba Gospel
The old familiar
adage says "A family that prays together, stays together!" The Murrills
are here as living examples and musical embodiments of that very fact.
This six-member group of siblings
knows the worth and the value of family prayer first hand. They also can attest that prayer is not only a language of love,
but it can also be a dialogue of despair. After losing their mother following a lengthy illness, The Murrills instinctively
banded together and did the only thing they knew to do... they prayed.
Brothers Darwin, Damion, Donnell,
Andre, and Durwood and sister Arnetta have been praying and singing together since they were toddlers. As is the story of
most of accomplished singers, The Murrills began singing in the church.
They traveled locally as a prodigy
group, at their father's behest, and won over each crowd before which they stood with their amazing talent that rivaled
their chronological ages. Unlike many of their contemporaries, however, The Murrills never left the church, and became seasoned
professionals at leading praise & worship services at their home church.
The Murrills were introduced
to their destiny when a gentleman named Donald Lawrence took the reigns of the local community choir, to which several of
them belonged. He immediately spotted the keen talents of the individual family members and they became fast friends. Over
the years, the friendship evolved into family, and Lawrence kept them involved and visible as he climbed the musical ladder
and became one of the most renowned, celebrated, and sought-after artist/producers of our time. When Donald Lawrence formed
his own label imprint, Quiet Water Entertainment, The Murrills were among the first acts he signed.
Family
Prayer is a collection of songs that speaks to the very value and wealth in the sacred, corporate activity. The CD speaks
to the joys and pains of a faithful walk, providing the soundtrack for the former and essential tools for the latter. Donald
Lawrence is at the reigns of the entire CD, serving as Executive Producer, and has personally overseen the concept and direction
herein.

Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burrell and Israel Houghton.
Tye Tribbett sponsored his second annual youth conference
earlier this year in the Poconos, with more than 1,000 attending. He will be performing at this year's Essence Festival
in New Orleans.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, Tye Tribbett is the son of two preachers…both his mother and father wore
the cloth…and Tye himself, a loving husband and father of two daughters, has responded to the Call, going on to minister
through his music and the Living Word. Growing up surrounded by hymns and gospel music, Tye learned to make music at an early
age. "I've been playing all my life," he explains. "Before I knew my ABC's, I knew the ABC's on
the keys." As a teenager, he honed his skills as a keyboardist by accompanying such regional notables as Steve Middleton,
the late James Viner and the Tri-State Mass Choir of the Edwin Hawkins Music & Arts Seminar.
In 1996, Tye founded
a gospel choir, Greater Anointing (G.A.), consisting of a group of family and friends whose hearts were set simply on praising
the Creator through the gift of great music. Tye knew from the beginning they'd tapped into something real and glorious.
"That first rehearsal blew my mind," he says. "The musicianship, the quality of the voices and the spirit of
the choir, the character of everybody…I knew that this was it. I knew that this is what I was supposed to be doing."

Christopher Lewis is a man of the people, with a deep seared passion and heart after
God. Lewis is no stranger to the industry, with eyes toward the sky and the spirit of a born worshipper. He and his untiring
team at Frontline Entertainment Inc., are adrenalized by their most recent partnership with Indianapolis-based, Tyscot Records,
the nation's oldest running Gospel independent label -- all this, in conjunction with the impending release of Lewis'
5th project entitled "Crisis".
Crisis, embodies
Lewis' signature style of exuberant praise combined with elements of R& B, Rock, Hip Hop, Contemporary Gospel, Urban
& Neo-soul, Rap, and Traditional Gospel, all resulting in "a cutting-leading-edge style of worship". This project
also offers up an impassioned vocal performance guaranteed to evoke adoration and reverence across all age groups, nationalities,
cultural barriers and denominations. Lewis says, Crisis... is all about transition, designed to shift the mindset from a state
of impasse to a state of great expectation and ultimately birth you into your destined place of promised manifestation. There
is something for everyone who has ever been through something and this is just one of the many messages that “Crisis”
communicates.
I am honored that God allows me to be a living testament to the fact that no matter what you go
through, or what life throws your way, you can make it. I am reminded that the things of this word are temporal… you
can and you will survive any crisis, that comes… you will conquer every stumbling block that presents itself,
and nothing will keep you from God’s pre-ordained destiny. Crisis not only inspires human morality, it embraces the
intimate relationship we have with our “Father”, establishes our identity in him, and shows us how God continues
to reach beyond our faults to meet our needs."
Opening as an edgy, in your face expression of praise and
worship, this project confronts real life issues that go beyond the four walls of the sanctuary. Crisis goes from a whisper
to a roar; a spine-tingling witness to God's greatness that falls nothing short of majestic – while making a soulful
impact. Standouts on this project include the rousing ,“How Does It Feel”, "Man Inside Of Me" and "Show
Me The Way" – featuring the award winning, Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr. From start to finish, the 22-track soul winning,
double-disc, showcases the multi-genre, strong songwriting, producing, unrelentingly soaring vocals and true anointing of
Christopher Lewis.
Lewis grew up immersed in church music. Born around 1971 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. His
father, Johnny Lewis, was a Deacon in the Central Heights, Free Will Baptist Church and sang in a local quartet while his
mother; Ella Lewis was a lead singer in the church choir. Lewis is the youngest of the three children and while Gospel music
was the preferred choice at home other sounds managed to make their way into Christopher’s hearing to include the likes
of James Taylor, The Beatles, Billie Holiday and Sam Cooke along with gospel giants like Shirley Ceasar, Andre Crouch and
The Hawkins Singers all were instrumental influences. Christopher is an ordained minister who accepted his calling into ministry
at age 7. At age 8, he composed his first song appropriately entitling it “Jesus Is Calling” . By the time he
was in the tenth grade, he had composed several songs including one that is now know around the world, “Sing Praises
To Thee,” recorded by gospel artist Judith Christie-McAllister, and sung by choirs everywhere.
His passionate
praise and worship sound continues to be celebrated across the globe from the USA to the UK to Japan. Lewis continues to garner
local and global recognition alongside numerous award nominations to include being named “Georgia Music Industry Songwriter
of the Year and Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) Songwriter of the Year in 2002. He has performed with some of the country’s
most well known artists to include Kirk Franklin, Trinity 5-7, Daryl Coley, Donnie McClurkin, Darlene McCoy, Ron Winans and
Tremaine Hawkins and a host of others.
Earlier this year, Lewis hit the road on a 10-city UK tour making appearances
in Northampton, Manchester, Reading, Liverpool and London, in support of his award winning and "Most Distinguished Album",
released in 2002, -- “Life”, and his other projects Rhythm & Praise, Honest Heart and his Gospel Worship DVD
“Plugged In”, a live recording of refreshing acoustic songs of worship, currently aired on BET Video Gospel. His
signature style and charisma was seen as an undeniable showstopper and in a matter of months this dynamism has promoters bringing

Axiom Records
The Thompson family, steeped in rich musical tradition and hailing from the
idyllic Ashmont Hill community near Boston, has made beautiful,
spiritual music for years in Jubilee church - the church in which their father is Bishop. Phil Thompson, Sisters April Joy

God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving.”
The group’s new self-titled album has
an equal number of songs to God and songs to inspire the people, and was crafted as a true collaborative effort between the
band and their producer, Sal Oliveri (Calvin Noel). They covered two Matt Redman songs, “Gifted Response” and
“Blessed Be Your Name,” for the record. Calvin Nowell wrote two tracks “I Give You Worship” and “Song

son Alvin Love III as co-producer) and new comers Christopher Capehart and Brannon Tunie. The 14-track disc finds the beloved
gospel vocalist performing empowering, congregationally accessible songs of praise, intimate worship and inspiration.
"When you’re in the throne room, your focus is just God," Winans said. "Nothing’s more
powerful than that. When you do other music—positive music, gospel, inspirational, whatever you want to name it—you’re
teaching lessons to other people, which is still very important. But nothing’s more powerful than when you’re
face to face with God."
For Thy Kingdom Come, Winans performs heartfelt, earnest songs for God and His church,
reminiscent of her career-defining, RIAA Platinum-and Gold-selling albums Alone in His Presence, Alabaster Box, and Throne
Room.
"It’s great to sing songs that help us or that encourage us to live right, or to talk right,
or to love each other—and those are all powerful messages, things that God smiles upon," Winans said. "But
when you just talk about the power of the living God and His awesomeness and His holiness, nothing is more powerful than that.
It penetrates the heart more than anything."
The first single "Waging War" was serviced to radio
and went for adds Feb 25. In preparation for the eagerly anticipated album, she also has some upcoming speaking and concert
dates which include an April 10 performance in Fort Hood, Texas, as part of the "Salute to Our Heroes" event. Winans
will also be appearing on TBN’s Praise the Lord on April 14th, performing new music.
Though times of bleakness
and recession are being reported and hopelessness is the order of the day, we must continue to invest in what will remind
us of the report of the Lord, and that’s worship. The selection of tunes were designed to bring joy, encouragement and
take you to a place that true worshippers love to dwell. To beat the crowd, avoid standing in lines and keep up with CeCe’s
appearances just by visiting www.cecewinans.com and ordering THY KINGDOM COME today.

Angella Christie-The Breath of Life
ACSM Records
What would
make a young girl think that she could take a sax with the audacious determination to travel the world playing gospel? Didn’t
she consider that many would say her dream was too ambitious, impractical or unlady like? Didn’t she consider that the
world and many church folks would categorical label her a jazz musician in spite her evangelistic exploits and self proclaimed
identity of being an “instrumental gospel saxophonist”? Didn’t she consider it’s a mannnnnn’s
world!
Nawwww, of course not!…She concluded, “The
earth is the Lord’s the fullness thereof and all they that dwell therein,” and went for IT!
Despite the odds, Angella has and is fulfilling the vision
of her youth. For the past 21 years she has literally performed throughout the United States and other continents such as Africa, Europe and Asia. By means of television (Day Star, TBN, BET, The Word Network and others), she has performed before
over 238 nations. She has encouraged many souls and brought many into the Kingdom.
Angella was featured in Jet magazine with “Best Photo
of the Week” with former President Bill Clinton and also headlined on the 40-city “Sister’s in the Spirit”
tour along with Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams, and Shirley Caesar. As a three-time Stellar Award Nominee, she is the first female
internationally acclaimed gospel saxophonist in the world.
Affectionately known as “the girl that plays with
her shoes off,” she is unequivocally Gospel’s Premiere Saxophonist!
While recording THE
BREATH OF LIFE, Angélla
Christie continued
to minister around the country as well as obtain her Certificate of Completion from The School of Ministry via Kingdom University (Atlanta,
GA) to add to her BA in Music and Bachelor of Social Work both obtained from Houston Baptist University
(Houston,TX). Now this three-time
Stellar Award nominee presents her greatly anticipated new release! Angélla Christie is an incredible “Smooth Gospel” instrumentalist. Her
new masterpiece will encourage, inspire and bless all during each and every listen. One can literally feel the Spirit of the
Lord hovering in the atmosphere on each note. Along with original compositions THE BREATH OF LIFE features several popular
cover tunes such as Because of Who You Are,Total Praise, Like the Dew, I Need You Now and others. A greater depth is felt on this new project; however Christie
stays true to the soulful style and passion that has dubbed her “Gospel’s Premiere Saxophonist!”

James Fortune & FIYA-The Transformation
Worldwide Gospel/Blacksmoke
"Youth of today must realize that true happiness and fullness
of joy is only found in the presence of Yahweh, our Heavenly Father" believes James Fortune. In April 1998, God gave
Fortune the vision to start a youth ministry to focus on reaching youth through song and dance. Youth For Christ (known
as "YFC") ministered throughout Greater Houston, Texas at churches, workshops, youth events and conferences. James Fortune
and YFC's ministry touched thousands of youth and garnered statewide attention for their high-energy unorthodox anointed performances. Youth
realized it was acceptable to sing and dance while praising God.
Two years later, Yahweh led Fortune to change the group's
name to James Fortune and FIYA (Free in Yahweh's Abundance). The vision of James Fortune and FIYA is to allow all people
through God's grace to experience the freedom that comes with a relationship with Jesus Christ. "Not by might nor power but
by God's Spirit" we believe that everyone can live a life free from bondage and strongholds and live a life in God's abundance
according to John 10:10.
"Our Father's will is not for his children to live a defeated
and broken life full of uncertainty and anxiety," says Fortune. "Yahweh has promised us that blessings would overtake
us if we would fully obey His Word!"
James Fortune & FIYA released their debut CD in 2005
entitled "You Survived!" The single, "You Survived" gained national attention and soared as high as #2 on Radio and Records
and #5 on Billboard's Radio Charts. The chart topping single was also listed as the #7 most played Gospel Song for the
year of 2005.
In June of 2006, at the 19th Annual Rhythm & Soul Music
Awards, ASCAP honored James Fortune as a songwriter for the most performed gospel song with the ASCAP Award for Gospel Song
of the Year for the hit single "You Survived!"
James Fortune and FIYA has been blessed to share the stage
with Grammy award winning and national recording artists such as Kirk Franklin, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Israel, Yolanda
Adams, Tye Tribbett, John P. Kee, Kim Burrell, Mary Mary, Stevie Wonder, and many others. The group has also appeared
on national television and radio shows such as Bobby Jones Gospel, The Jeff Majors Show, TBN and the Gospel Superfest. In
2006, Fortune attended the One Church Tour where he shared the platform with Kurt Carr, Vicki Yohe, RIZEN and Smokie Norful. Recently,
the group performed on the Cathy Hughes Radio One Love Cruise which featured Fred Hammond, Deitrick Haddon, The Williams Brothers,
Dottie Peoples, and many more.
James Fortune and FIYA's purpose is to reach young people
and address the struggles of peer pressure, drugs, fornication, dance clubs and all other acts of ungodliness. This group
possesses a very special anointing that immediately pours in the presence of Yahweh and excites you about living for Christ. Their
desire and focus is that lost souls can come to know Christ and experience the unconditional love and peace that he so freely
gives. Just allow the words of their hit single, "You Survived" to minister to you, "After all that you've been through, now
you know God carried you through the rain and the pain, you called and he came, YOU SURVIVED!"
James Fortune and FIYA's highly anticipated sophomore album,
The Transformation, is scheduled for release in the 1st Quarter of 2008. The first single, The Blood, which is a tribute
to gospel great Andre Crouch, was the number one added gospel song to the national airplay list in April of 2007 and peaked
at #14 on the gospel radio charts.

Daquela-Blue Sky
EMI Gospel
“What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun…….or does it
explode?” For Gospel newcomer, Da’Quela, her dream of becoming the next great Gospel artist took more of a “big
bang” turn in a direction she had, oddly enough, almost given up on. EMI Gospel, the label known for nurturing some
of the industry’s most amazing talent from career infancy to stardom, brings Da’Quela to center stage with her
debut release entitled Blue Sky.
Blue Sky is God’s big answer to what happens to Da’Quela’s seemingly
deferred dream. As she lifts her voice, Da’Quela emits a vocal collage that whisks you into the presence of Ce Ce Winans,
Yolanda Adams, and Mary J. Blige all at once. “Blue Sky”, the first single and title track from her debut project,
speaks of a love for God that gently elevates the vocalist to a place where she can seemingly touch the sky. Subtle strings
grace the track, appearing as a heavenly orchestra waiting to greet and accompany the voice of an angel.
Da’Quela
was your average girl next door. She carried a dream in her heart and a deadline for realizing that dream in her head, and
the clock was ticking rapidly. Born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin, population
37,000, she has memories of singing at the age of 2, when she wrapped her toddler fingers around her hairbrush microphone
and performed around the house with her older brother. Fast forward a few years, and picture the life of a young adult, adjusting
to the reality and challenges of managing life as a single mom. Da’Quela felt the possibility of her dream morphing
into reality becoming fainter by the day. Perched on the front steps of her home, one day Da’Quela decided to stretch
her faith and present God with a challenge. “If I’m not signed (to a label), recording an album, or something
by [age] 25, I’m gonna quit,” she said. She thought, “Maybe I could get used to just singing at church.”
After trying out for both American Idol and Exalting Him, in 2006, Da’Quela sang her way past 16,000 contestants
to win the first ever, Trinity Broadcasting Network’s (TBN) Gifted television competition, an American Idol look-alike,
showcasing the talent of Christian vocalists nationwide. Immediately, the Gifted judges took note. The accolades from competition
judges – industry veterans such as Eddie DeGarmo and Andrae Crouch – came in rapid succession during Da’Quela’s
performances, as they observed her personality, her style, and her amazing ability to master any note and any song placed
in front of her. At one point in the competition DeGarmo remarked, “……You have a special gift, and whether
or not you win this competition….., you should be making cd’s so we can all enjoy it.” The other judges
agreed, and Da’Quela pulled out of the competition the winner and proved that there is, in fact, a stage with her name
on it in the music industry.
With total confidence, Da’Quela delivers to the world the dream she’s been
waiting so long to share. She holds her own against Gospel powerhouse, Darwin Hobbs, who makes a special guest appearance,
lending his distinctly rich and powerful vocal gift to a duet on the track “Never Too Far”. Together, the two
voices intertwine in a melodious reminder that “no mountain is high enough, no valley is low enough” to separate
us from the love of God.
Da’Quela displays her versatility, delivering up tempo tracks like “So Happy”,
“I Got You”, and “U Gonna Make It” with unquestionable vocal control and power. She seamlessly delves
deep to usher you into the presence of God’s glory on the soul stirring, worshipful love song, “Incredible”.
Her passionate conveyance of “It’s Love”, one of the more personal songs on the Blue Sky project, takes
you to the depths of her life and her heart. Listen closely, and you will hear snippets of Da’Quela’s personal
testimony sprinkled throughout the song as she wraps herself in the forgiving and endless love of God.
“Shining
Star”, co-written by Antonio Neal, Kyle Lovett, and label-mate Darlene McCoy, is understandably Da’Quela’s
favorite song on the project. This sweet serenade dares you to close your eyes and float on a wave of smooth jazz and R&B
sounds as Da’Quela’s lead vocals invite the listener to reflect on the all sufficient and gratifying character
of the Lord. Likewise “Psalm 23”, a kindred companion, successfully breathes new life into a familiar, comforting
verse of scripture.
In her first time ever in a studio, this nouveau artist was placed in the more than capable hands
of industry pros like Antonio Neal, DoubleDutch (Josiah Bell and Robert Marvin), and Cedric Thompson. The evidence is lucid,
and selecting a favorite from Blue Sky will prove to be a laborious task and one that will quickly be abandoned at first spin
of the project. Inspirational lyrics overlay tracks full of jazz, rhythm and blues, gospel, pop, and even disco influences.
Blue Sky promises a collection of sounds capable of pacifying the ears of the most discriminating listener. For Da’Quela,
however, her “dream deferred” has now become a dream revealed.

Professor James Roberson-Joy Unspeakable
JDI Records
In today's competitive climate many startup labels don't
make it past the first few rough years, so a 10th anniversary is definitely cause for celebration.
As JDI Records hits the 10-year bench-mark, founder James Roberson is proud of the label's past but is keeping his focus on the roster's
future. And after a decade behind the scenes, he steps into the spotlight with his own debut album, "Joy Unspeakable," out
January .
"I started the label with just $7 in my bank account,"
Roberson says of the early days. "Our first record was Norman Hutchins' 'Battlefield,' which took off for us and became a
big seller. It sold hundreds of thousands of copies, and from that time on, it's been a real blessed journey."
Roberson started the label after earning hs master's degree
in business administration at the University of California, Los Angeles and working at Capitol Records. Though his future looked bright at Capitol, he
says he felt God calling him to start his own venture, a move encouraged by his pastor. "I told my pastor I was having a hard
time finding basic church music," says Roberson, who has also been a music professor at UCLA for the past 13 years. "He said,
"Why don't you do something about it? Why don't you start a gospel label that focuses on providing music that is suitable
for church?"
So Roberson launched JDI, which stands for "Just Do It."
He started with Hutchins, who remains the Los Angeles-based label's flagship act. His most recent release, "Where I Long to
Be," debuted at No. 12 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. The JDI roster also includes DeNetria Champ, Chester T. Baldwin,
Minister Timothy Britten, Paster Woodrow Hayden and the UCLA Gospel Choir.
JDI artists have ranked among Billboard's top-selling independent
gospel acts. The label is distributed to Christian retail via a long-standing relationship with Nashville-based Central South
Distribution and to mainstream retail by Sony Red.
Roberson's advice to others looking to start an indie label
is to be prepared and be willing to reinvest. "I'm glad I took time to go back to school and get my MBA," he says. "I've always
been a creative person and the music part has always been easy for me... but I needed to learn marketing, promotion, how to
do financials, strategic planning, things like that."
He says his pastor also gave him good advice: "'Don't eat
your seeds.' When you make money, you have to replant it into the ground for a harvest next year. I took that to heart."
Roberson has also been tithing, donating a portion of his
proceeds to his church. In turn, when he kept dragging his feet about doing his own album, the church called him on it. "They
decided they were going to invest in the album for me and they gave me a check and said, "Go do it," he says. "That's how
the record came about."
He's produced many artists over the years and was continually
asked about doing his own project, but admits he was hesitant. "I love ministering, but never really thought about being a
gospel artist," he says, "but my pastor thought my ministry should be heard outside the four walls of our church."
Roberson will debut his solo effort during the annual Gospel
Music Workshop of America gathering in August in Dallas. He's
already getting calls from people who want to book dates, but isn't sure how many concerts he'll do because the label remains
his first priority. He's still planning ways to celebrate its 10th anniversary and says he may do a commemorative album involving
JDI's entire roster.
In the meantime, he wants to stay focused and manage JDI's
growth. "My vision has always been to have a boutique label with good quality music and good quality artists," Roberson says.
"If I have 10 artists that sell 100,000-200,000 units versus a label that has 40 artists, then you have five or six that are
selling and then there's [a] whole bunch of disgruntled artists because they don't feel like they are getting a fair shake.
That's not my paradigm. I want to have a maximum of 10 artists, then I can really concentrate and build. That's definitely
one of our challenges...to manage our growth, to make sure we don't get away from the vision."

Bryan Wilson-A Second Coming
Bryan's Songs Music
Former child Gospel star Bryan Wilson is gearing up for A Second Coming: the second coming of Christ through music and his second
coming as a recording artist. In 1994, the then-12 year old’s soulful, melismatic rendition of “His Eye on the
Sparrow” with the Mississippi Children’s Choir made him an overnight gospel sensation. What followed were Dove
and Stellar award nominations, two solo CDS and tours with a who’s who of gospel artists. After a voice change and time
off for college at Princeton University,
Wilson is now ready for his Second Coming. A Second Coming
is Wilson’s first CD release since 1999’s Growing
Up and it’s a departure. Whereas, Wilson’s childhood
music was traditional, old school gospel; his new sound is urban contemporary. The project features tracks by the Washington, D.C. area’s 1 Up Entertainment
production team that has produced hits on Keyshia Cole, Usher and Ciara. There are also tracks by up and coming producer Kris
“Doc Sizzle” Bell, who has collaborated with contemporary
gospel legend John P. Kee and rapper B.B. Jay. It’s the first time Wilson
had a hand in writing, co-producing and arranging all of the songs. “My manager had asked some known songwriters to
submit songs for the project and nothing came through,” Wilson
recalls. “So, I just started writing what the Lord placed on my heart and this is the result.” Drawing from his
own life experiences and faith, Wilson wrote or co-wrote the
twelve faith-based songs covering everything from a soured romance on “Smile” and an absentee dad on “Still,
My Father” to a bad day at work on “Just Do Something.” It’s a smooth, urban contemporary vibe without
the slickness of some pop music. “It has a really raw sound,” Wilson
says. “The way the vocals are mixed is especially raw, but I like it. It’s a little different but I think people
will like it. However, all music theory aside, my main mission for these songs is to encourage and save souls for Christ.”
In his past, Wilson has been cheated out of royalties and
never received the full promotional support he desired, so he decided to go independent for his comeback project. He and his
manager decided to finance and release the CD themselves through their Bryan’s
Songs Records/CE Music label. “In the gospel world, the major labels are shrinking and more and more indie artists are
rising up,” says Wilson. “So, it’s the perfect
time to launch my own company and create a foundation so that I can open the door for other great gospel talent.” Wilson’s first single “My Soul Boasts in the Lord”
is now impacting gospel radio and he will launch an aggressive cross-country promotional tour in January.

Shirley Caesar-After 40 Years...Still Sweeping Through the City
Light Records
After hearing the voice of God during a college exam, Shirley Caesar (born 1938) believed it was her duty to spread
the Gospel. This "calling" has developed into 150 concerts per year, volunteer work for the poor, numerous Grammy awards,
and over 30 record albums.
With 150 concerts a year, 25 hours a week helping the poor in her Outreach Ministries, several Grammies, and 30 record
albums to her credit, Shirley Caesar may seem to be a whole army of gospel singers instead of just one diminutive (5'1, 3/4")
cherubic-looking woman. The "Queen of Gospel" packs a lot of wallop in her small frame. Backed by a sixty-person choir, rocking
like a tempest, she is a bundle of fireworks on the Fourth of July. The gospel style of song and sermonette, singing that
involves both the spoken word and dramatic acting, was developed primarily by Shirley Caesar. She journeys all over the world,
sometimes traveling all night to return to her pulpit in Durham, North Carolina, the town where she was born. "It is not easy,"
said Shirley in her 1995 video He Will Come (Word Records), "In fact, sometimes it is downright mind-boggling. But, somehow,
even though I'm wearing all of these hats, the Lord helps me to just barrel through it." Shirley has barreled through fifty
years of touring and preaching, starting at age ten, and she continues to bring the house down every time she performs.
The tenth of 12 children, Shirley Caesar was born October 13, 1938. Her father James was a tobacco worker who was well-known
in the Carolinas as the lead singer in a gospel quartet, the Just Came Four. Shirley began singing with the group at age ten.
When she was twelve, her father died, and she began touring with an evangelist named LeRoy Johnson, who also had a television
show in Portsmouth, Virginia. In 1951, at thirteen, she recorded her first song "I'd Rather Have Jesus." While still in high
school, she toured throughout the Carolinas.
This was a time when Jim Crow laws were still in effect in North Carolina. Shirley remembers restaurants putting up the
CLOSED sign when she would arrive. "I went to school in the days when all the white kids got things better," she told People,
"I remember once when a lady gave cookies to all the kids in the state. The white kids got the fresh ones; we got the stale
ones." Despite these obstacles, her beloved mother Hannah taught her to respect herself and to persevere.
Her determination took her to North Carolina Central College where she studied business education. She has said that she
got the call to God's work in the middle of a typing test. According to Kim Hubbard of People, she heard someone call out
her name. Shirley turned to the young woman next to her and asked if she had spoken. When Shirley went home, she lay on the
bed, and heard the same voice: "Behold, I have called you from your mother's womb and I have anointed your lips to preach
the gospel."
Shirley believed that this was a message that foretold special work for her in spreading the Gospel. Around the same time,
Shirley heard Chicago's female gospel group, the Caravans, and she saw an opportunity to answer the call. She sought an audition
with the group, was immediately hired, and left school for a life of singing and ministry.
The Caravans had several members who became famous in the history of gospel music: Albertina Walker, Inez Andrews, and
Sarah McKissick. Each woman had a different style and Shirley's contribution was an energetic and dramatic approach where
she would act out the songs and walk among the congregation, engaging the members directly. On the song "I Won't Be Back,"
she would run through the hall searching for an exit, then leave for a brief period. Her forte was the sermon in the middle
of songs that addressed the subject of the song and expounded on its theme. She exhorted the listeners to reach out to God
and to take the example of Jesus. On the subject of motherhood, she was particularly effective. Her song "Don't Drive Your
Mama Away" tells of a son who is shamed for putting his mother in the rest home.
Along the way, Shirley found a male counterpart in the singer James Cleveland and they made several records together. They
became known as the "King and Queen of Gospel." Shirley formed her own group in 1966 called the Caesar Singers, but she would
reunite with the Caravans and the Reverend Cleveland occasionally throughout the years. In 1971, she won her first Grammy,
for the popular song "Put Your Hand in the Hand of the Man from Galilee." On the night of the awards, she had returned very
late from an engagement in Homer, Louisiana. People began banging on her door, and when she eventually answered, her sister
Ann, one of her backup singers, shouted "You won!" It was the first Grammy for a black female gospel singer since Mahalia
Jackson. Shirley went on to win the award in 1980, 1984, 1985, 1992 and 1994--for an astonishing total of seven Grammys.
Among her numerous honors are eight Dove awards, the Gospel Music Association's highest tribute. She was inducted into
the Gospel Hall of Fame in 1982. She was the first female gospel artist to perform at Harvard University. In recent years,
Shirley Caesar moved into other media, making several videos: Live in Memphis,I Remember Mama, and He Will Come. Broadway
found that the gospel singer could conquer a big city when Shirley packed them in for the musical Mama I Want to Sing (1994).
Her second Broadway musical in 1995 was titled Sing: Mama 2 and her third in 1996 was titled Born to Sing! Mama 3. Perhaps
her proudest achievement was the creation of a ministry in Durham to provide emergency funds, food and shelter for the needy,
the Shirley Caesar Outreach Ministries. When Shirley ran for public office and was elected to the Durham City Council in 1987,
she concentrated her efforts on housing and care for the poor and elderly.
Her biggest fan, the Rev. Harold I. Williams, whom Shirley has called "my pastor, my best friend, my husband," assessed
his wife's character in the 1995 video He Will Come: "After twelve years, I'm going to say the same thing I said after the
first year I was married to Shirley: exciting! You never know what is coming next. I mean it is exciting. It is from one thing
to another. She's an exciting person. She's a joy to be around." Most who have seen her perform would agree.

Youthful Praise feat. J.J. Hairston-Exalted
Light Records
The Bridgeport, CT-based choir, Youthful Praise, is back on the scene. Their last CD was released over two years
ago but the last single "Incredible God" just recently dropped off of the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart over a year after
its release. The gospel industry is buzzing that YP's new single "We Worship You" will enjoy an equally long airplay life.
YP's charismatic leader, J.J. Hairston, brings his Brooklyn-bred flavor to the pulsating praise track. "I love the
new radio single because it's easy to catch and sing along to, and if you're not careful, it will have you dancing," Hairston
laughs.
Recorded at Baltimore's Church of the Redeemed of the Lord, the project boasts cameos by Judith McAllister, Ted Winn (Ted
& Sheri), Jordan Martin, Timiney Figueroa Caton & Steve Lawrence, and Hairston's mother-in-law, Gloria White. "This
project is different from the others in that it brings it all together," says Hairston. "Meaning we have some worship music,
some praise music, some good ole' fashion church music, and it's all done the way YP does it. It's also different because
the messages are much more personal. Songs such as 'Everything is Changed', 'You Are', and 'Freedom' are my personal testimonies.
I pray that someone can relate to what we're saying and be blessed by it."
Hairston grew up in the church his grandfather pastored (Mt Sinai Cathedral) and where his mom served as the choir director.
However, when he moved to Connecticut, he had no desire to sing with or direct any choir. It wasn't until his friend Raheema
Harrison was killed in a shooting that Hairston decided to turn his own life around. He did that by joining Central High School's
gospel choir and eventually, Youthful Praise. Eventually, Hairston became co-director of Youthful Praise. It was then that
he began to write and arrange the songs that Youth Praise recorded. When co-director, Shawn Brown, left to become a pastor,
Hairston became the choir's leader. Since then, the choir has performed on the "Stellar Awards" and "Conan O'Brien." They
have also won two Stellar Award nominations. Their last single "Incredible God" spent 44 weeks on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs
chart where it peaked at number six.

Joe Pace-Worship For The Kingdom
Alliant Music Group
Grammy, 8-time Dove and 7-time Stellar nominated songwriter, producer, artist, director and author Joe Pace, is
multi-talented and gifted with a wide range of abilities and insight in Gospel music and ministry.
"WORSHIP FOR THE KINGDOM" depicts the whole church experience on one CD. From the opening welcome to offering to altar
call to benediction, Pace portrays church as it should be. In an almost instructional manner that affirms Pace’s role
as pastor, teacher and one of the most sought after music workshop clinicians and speakers in the country, this is much more
than an album of music. Encouraging communication with God through combining segments of Pace’s spoken Word with the
power of his choir’s music ministry, "WORSHIP FOR THE KINGDOM," provides the consummate church experience for all denominations.
The album was recorded live at the Renaissance Church of God In Christ in Grand Rapids, MI, where the pastor is Pastor
Dennis J. McMurray. Featuring an 80-voice multi-denominational, multi-cultural community choir, "WORSHIP FOR THE KINGDOM,"
is described by Pace as "an album for the church by the church." To that end, Pace incorporated local pastors giving the spoken
Word offering a sense of unity and their inclusion contributes to the authentic, true church experience for all.
There is plenty to enjoy on the album that includes the first single, "You’ve Been Good" a high-energy, head
bobbing classically structured praise & worship jam. As is Pace’s signature, "WORSHIP FOR THE KINGDOM" also features
tracks that are essentially Praise and Worship at its best – Sunday Morning lyrics backed by well produced and strong
music that draw in the listener. From the opening of "Welcome Into This Place" to the time-honored "Great Is Thy
Faithfulness" to the simple hooky repetitive chorus of "When I Worship" it all bears Joe Pace’s unique stamp
of perfected praise and worship music.
From the widely recognized Colorado Mass Choir to his "Joe Pace Presents …" brand of worship music,
Pace’s anointed style, production, spiritual perception, and song writing skills have established him as one of the
gospel music industry’s most dynamic and compelling talents.
An ordained minister, Pace is also the Director/CEO of the award-winning Colorado Mass Choir, as well as the CEO and president
of The PACE Group, Inc., a multi-faceted ministry corporation that includes a new record label, production company, publishing
division, conference/workshop division and non-profit foundation. He penned several of our genre’s top songs including,
"Watch God Move," the popular worship anthem "We Worship You," featuring Fred Hammond, "Let There Be Praise,"
"Shake The Foundation," "Speak Life" and the radio mega-hit, "Glad About It" featuring LaShun Pace.
Pace also produced several amazing albums with Colorado Mass Choir including the Top 10 and Stellar Award nominated "Glad
About It" and the Grammy and Dove Nominated "Speak Life" project.

Trinitee 5:7-T57
Universal Music Group
After
a four-year hiatus platinum-selling trio Trin-i-tee 5:7 is back and ready to release T57, the songbirds new musical collection
on Mathew Knowles’ Gospel division Spirit Rising Music, September 18th.
The project flaunts the style and musical
edginess that first made Trin-i-tee 5:7 a hit in the late 90s. T57 finds Chanelle, Angel and Adrian providing twelve memorable
tracks dealing with everyday situations wrapped in musical elements of R&B, soul, hip hop and gospel.
The three
women take much of the songwriting credits on the project - a definite sign that T57 is the personal reflection of the group
– and hit producer Walter Milsap (Yolanda Adams, Alicia Keys, Usher & Dave Hollister) delivers the 1st single “Listen,”
and two other unforgettable songs “I Need You” and an uplifting anthem titled “Beautiful Girl.”
Music
World Entertainment’s production team led by Mathew Knowles – The Bama Boyz, Solange Knowles and DJ Static –
rounds off the group’s highly anticipated and ground-breaking project.
Not afraid to hit the listener hard from
beat one, “I Still Love You” is sung from the perspective of a brokenhearted woman who just can’t get over
her man. Merging a spiritual message over a classic soul sound, the song is cleverly penned and will find many women nodding
heads in agreement.
Another standout track comes from the pen of Solange Knowles. “Like U” is a catchy
urban track about how an earthly relationship can’t compare to a spiritual one. The R&B-tinged song samples maestro
Richard Smallwood’s classic “I Love The Lord” over a bed of slick beats.
“We’ve touched
on topics that you don’t typically hear mentioned in songs – as in our song, Like U. There’s nothing wrong
with having a relationship,” says Adrian. “As Christian women, we have them and we learn from them. This song
is a reminder that we as women need to keep the big picture in mind; we can’t make permanent decisions based on temporary
situations.”
Another scorcher is the urban, beat-banging “God’s Triangle.” The James Brown-influenced
track will find the listener “stuck in the middle” of a fabulous song. “U Saved Me,” the mega-hit
from noted producer and songwriter R. Kelly, is tastefully redone by the group as well.
A beautiful worship song, “I
Will Lift,” is a solemn and moving cut. Written from the heart of Angel, the song gives us a glimpse into a discussion
she had with the Lord. “When I wrote the song,” says Angel, “I was having a conversation with God telling
Him what I thought about Him and how I feel about Him. When I wrote it, I was truly expressing my heart to my Heavenly Father.”
The transparency of the song is quite touching.
After coming through the recent tempest in New Orleans, the trio thought
it would be fitting to record Doug Miller’s popular church tune, “My Soul Is Anchored.” Following their
trial, the song seems more than appropriate. With the addition of female voices, this soaring ballad is taken to unbelievable
heights. Perhaps it’s the deeply personal nature of the lyrics that’s the cause of such a powerful performance
for two of the groups members were personally affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Having sold more than 2 million units
with their first three projects – their eponymous debut, Spiritual Love and The Kiss - the group isn’t awestruck
by their material successes. Their goal is to continue to inspire and spread God’s love, and T57 is an exemplary musical
testimony.

Marvin Winans-Alone But Not Alone
Pure Springs Gospel
Marvin Winans returns to the musical forefront with his first solo debut, Alone But Not Alone; a collection of
fresh, smooth and urban-flavored tunes featuring Winans' classic vocal style. "I believe that Marvin Winans is not just a
premiere gospel vocalist, but one of the most incredible male voices in any genre of music and I hope the world embraces this
stellar musical offering he has created. He is an incredible writer and this project is a transparent look at the man Marvin
Winans," says Demetrus Stewart (President/General Manager of PureSprings Gospel).
The multi-award-winning tenor, chief songwriter and member of Gospel music's
most heralded family, takes center stage as he delivers the highly anticipated album of the year, which is set to hit stores
September 25, 2007.
|
Winans came to international fame as the lead singer of The Winans along with brothers Ronald, Carvin and Michael Winans.
The Grammy-award quartet revolutionized the way the world viewed gospel music. The Winans scored hit after hit in the 90's
with such classics as "Tomorrow," "Ain't No Need to Worry" with Anita Baker and "It's Time" featuring Teddy Riley.
The 12-track CD features masterful vocals and lyrics that cements Winans' place as a gospel music icon. From the beginning
of the first song until the album's end, the project delivers situational, inspirational and faith-inspired messages in a
style that builds on Winans' legacy, stepping beyond just the gospel base, with tunes that are fitting to smooth jazz and
quiet storm radio formats as well.
"His voice is like no other. His message is timeless. His ministry is life-changing and his music is something the world
needs to hear. I love Marvin Winans and you will, too," says CeCe Winans.
Winans joins forces with producer Tommy Sims, who with extensive experience in pop music was able to maintain Winans' trademark
crossover style, without compromising his gospel content.
The first single, "You Just Don't Wanna Know" is an acoustic guitar driven ballad that has the makings of a universal mantra
that has landed a place in the upcoming motion picture film, A Good Man is Hard to Find, starring Hill Harper (CSI:NY),
Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), R&B singer Deborah Cox, Melissa De Sousa (One on One) and Darrien Dewitt Henson
(Stomp the Yard). "We really have to care about one another and understand that we need one another; so often people
hide how they feel. It is important to have the ability to go to someone and say I'm hurting in an area, or I'm weak in an
area or I've made a mistake. We don't need someone when it is convenient, we need someone when we need someone, and so many
times people just don't wanna know," states Marvin Winans of these heart-felt lyrics.
The title cut "Alone But Not Alone" opens with a snippet of the soulful sound of Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues," then
subtly transitions into Winans' declaration of his solid relationship with God. On the up-tempo track, a tightly woven-blend
of smooth jazz and neo-soul showcases the singer's remarkable vocals.
Alone But Not Alone offers tunes that are reminiscent of the family quartet, The Winans, as in "My Story," an upbeat
collaboration with twin brother Carvin and "He Brought Me Joy," as Winans' brother Ronald appears on what would be his last
recording, to testify of God's faithfulness.
Keeping things close to home, the CD will be released on PureSprings Gospel, founded by platinum-selling sister CeCe Winans
and distributed by EMI.
Plans are under way for promotional tours, in-store signings and release
parties in select cities. In the meantime, check out Winans' My Space page at www.myspace.com/marvinwinansmusic |

Byron Cage-LIVE at the Apollo
Gospocentric Records
Known for passionately ushering in the very presence of God through his music, Byron Cage
is Gospel music's preeminent praise and worship leader and his gift for songwriting and performing has earned him multiple
Stellar Awards, a Grammy-nomination and top chart positions in Billboard Magazine. His new CD, LIVE AT THE
APOLLO: THE PROCLAMATION.
Recorded live at New York's Apollo Theatre in Harlem, Byron Cage made history by becoming the first gospel artist to
record a live CD at the famous theatre. The 10 -song project features energetic praise songs as well as emotive, impassioned
God-focused worship songs. The PAJAM-produced project also introduces Cage as principal songwriter.
The first single, "With All Of My Might," is an exciting, praise-inspired number urging listeners to
praise God with their all and all. The song is enjoying radio airplay around the country. Other highlights include
the rousing title track; the smooth and melodious "If You Never" with special guests Kim Burrell and J
Moss; and the moving "Anyhow" featuring Dave Hollister.
While "I Will Bless the Lord" off of his GRAMMY-nominated CD "An Invitation to Worship" was named
by Billboard Magazine as the number one Gospel song of 2006, and he has won the Stellar Award for "Song of the Year"
(amongst many others) for two consecutive years - the accolades are sure to continue pouring in by droves after the release
of his new project, which Cage says is an outpouring of his passion to bring the name of Jesus back to the forefront, especially
in Gospel music.
"Although we have large ministries and speak about
'going to the next dimension', the name Jesus isn't spoken as much as it used to be," says Cage. My passion is to boldly
proclaim the name of Jesus. There is no name higher than the name of Jesus." The idea for this CD was born
at a Gospel music convention, where he heard artists talking about moving in a more 'inspirational' direction and omitting
the name Jesus in their songs. "I remember sitting there and starting to cry. I thought, 'Lord why do we
feel that in order to reach the masses we have to leave your name out?'" That was the beginning of the concept for LIVE
AT THE APOLLO: THE PROCLAMATION.
The night of the recording was a special evening for Cage. Music
greats including Donald Lawrence, Rodney Jerkins and Dr. Bobby Jones came out to show their
support and Cage was moved by the incredible, energetic response he received from the audience throughout the night.
"I'm so thrilled that the night of the recording came off as well as it did," says the artist. "I had the best singers
(directed by DeWayne Woods); the best set, the best everything. I wanted people that came out that
night to feel such an overwhelming presence of the Lord, even though we weren't in a church environment. But ultimately,
during the night of recording The Proclamation, I wanted people to cross their legs and say, 'Now
that's how you do gospel music!'"

Myron Butler & Levi-Stronger
EMI Gospel
Four time Stellar Award winner--Myron Butler and Levi—follow
up their critically acclaimed debut project Set Me Free, with their sophomore CD appropriately titled Stronger.
Stronger maintains the vibe and lyrical relevance from
the singer’s debut album. Butler modestly refers to his sophomore release as a continuation of
the first album with a stronger message. “It’s what God has given me to give his people,” adds the singer,
“My goal as a songwriter and as a leader is to deliver a message that empowers people to do what God has called them
to do.”
Butler proves more than ever his ability to write meaningful & life-changing
songs, while extending his take on an increasingly popular sub genre style of hip hop/ soft rock gospel music."
Myron Butler and Levi fans can expect exactly what the
title suggests from the new album--a lyrically stronger and more inventive sound. The 10-track CD largely produced by Butler, features the group’s harmonious style absorbed in the
70’s funk guitar church driven song, “Jesus Saves.” “I Live” is another stand out track that
features a gospel-rock simulated sound and showcases the singer’s edgy lead vocals. Additionally, the Dallas native rewrote his blueprint for a successful hit radio single with the album’s
title track “Stronger,” which has all the makings of a universal mantra with a hint of hip hop flair.
“The album is a little bit of everything,”
explains Butler, “I really try to cover all the base
…GOD is not just one thing and our music shouldn’t be either. Everybody is at a different place and they may need
something different to propel them into their destiny.”
In addition to the release of the Stronger CD, the group
will release their first ever full-length concert DVD of the same name, on October 2. The video features show-stopping vocal
performances, compelling new age dance chorography, and special bonus interview footage. The Gospel Music Channel recorded
the concert in front of an auditorium of adoring music lovers in Nashville,
TN. The GMC programming executives plan to air the concert on their signature
show Front Row Live, this summer. Check your local cable provider for listings.
Stronger, shows Myron Butler & Levi for what they will
be perpetually known for— great musical talent, diversity, innovation, relevant lyrics, and much more.

The Canton Spirituals-Driven
Verity/Zomba Records
From the small beginnings over 60 years ago, The Canton Spirituals have helped to revolutionize the modern Gospel quartet sound
with a powerful combination of smooth harmonies and joyous lyrics layered with rousing music. The Canton Spirituals are true
pioneers in Gospel music and although this is a new project, it is at the very heart of whom this group has always been and
who they are today. After years of establishing a signature sound and a respected artistry, The Canton Spirituals continue
to surpass goals and expectations while maintaining their signature sound and style.
The group is led once again by Harvey Watkins Jr., who
for the past 13 years has carried the torch ignited by his father who co-founded the Canton Spirituals in the 1940s. Their
latest CD, Driven, is packed with contemplative spiritual tunes, vintage rollicking tracks and deeply moving emotional ballads,
communicating an overwhelming joy of a group who is Driven to never stop singing the Gospel.
Their trademark sound is evident on the lead single, "That
Man From Galilee," a swingy and catchy throw-back track from the Cantons' archives. "We pulled that song from a record we
did in the 80's and we just thought it'd be great to do again," said Watkins. "We recorded this whole project in the studio
and I think it has a relaxed and clear sound. I really like that we were able to take our time with this album and you can
hear that on this song."
In Watkins' own words, they are "a little traditional,
a little blues, and even a little R&B" and each element helps to complete the 13-track project. The rollicking tradition
of "Got Him On My Mind," "I Never Met A Man Like Jesus," and "I Recommend Jesus," embody the tried and true Canton Spirituals
sound with high-energy, toe-tapping rhythmic harmonies.
The simply powerful, "Call Jesus," a bluesy track in the
truest tradition of Quartet-Gospel, brings Watkins together with long time friend and quartet fixture Lee Williams. "We've
known each other for over 30 years and our fans have really wanted us to do a song together," said Watkins. "It was such a
blessing for us to be able to come together this time and work together ... I am so proud to have him as part of our project."
"Leave My Burdens" offers the down-home grit of the Mississippi-bred
group while on the other end of the spectrum lies the groove-heavy "Watch Him Move" and the easy-listening pop-soul of "I
Need You." Though not quite a total departure, Watkins describes "Watch Him Move" as a bit of experimentation. "It's up-tempo
and has a real fresh sound to it," he said. "It's a different sound than what we've done before and has beautiful lyrics."
Watkins insists on staying current and fresh by keeping
young people and a younger musical perspective around him. "I think the key to our longevity is that I don't act like I know
everything ... I listen to the young people and to what they are listening to and then apply it to what we do. It will keep
you from sounding like an old vet," he said.

Gary Mayes & Nu Era-Diary
of A Strong Souljah
Light Records
There are many
strong Gospel producers and artists on the scene today, but you'd be hard pressed to find one with more heart than Houston's
Gary Mayes. He comes by it honestly, as his passion for God flows
from a battle-scarred soul, one that has scored every lesson the hard way, through the blood, sweat and tears of real life.
But those are the teachings that stick with us, and Gary Mayes is definitely sticking, in it to win it over the long haul.
Gary Mayes' first encounter with the drums was a divine
appointment of the highest order, when he filled in for a missing performer at a worship service. At the tender age of 8 the
gift was handed down, and he's been tearing' it up ever since, performing behind some of the industry's biggest names, from
Kim Burrell, to El Debarge, to Yolanda Adams. Through the years he has developed into a gifted producer, writer, and director,
serving for close to 11 years as Music Director at Fountain of Praise Church in Houston, one of the country's fastest growing
churches with over 15,000 members. But Gary loves his church
and his ministry for more than its opportunities; these are the people who have supported him and loved him hard and true
on the long road back from incarceration.
He'll be the first to tell you that he took the long way
home, spending a year and a half behind bars. But Gary also
wants it known that it was time well spent. "Some people may say I've lost a year and a half," he shares, "but in my heart
I know it gained me a lifetime. Everything changed for me in that year and a half, the best of my lifetime." The discipline
and perspective that he found on the inside gave him solid understanding of how to really walk the Lord's line. "I became
healthy and strong in there," he says. "Now I pray that I can live the same life of obedience on this side of the bars."
That fervor and red hot passion spills out all over Gary's third offering, the slammin' "Diary of a Strong Souljah," on
Light Records. He and his talented Nu Era group lay down 18 tracks of blazing vertical worship. The double disc serves up
a phenomenal 109 minutes of high energy praise, tight musicianship, and deeply sincere worship. You won't find a Gospel project
more rooted in Scripture than "Diary of a Strong Souljah," and Mayes brings the souljah's mentality to the battle field too.
The fierce opener "Hit the Deck" serves notice right out of the gate, featuring BB Jay's strong support on the blistering
war cry. Mayes breaks down the Old Testament Scriptures for our encouragement on the swirling kaleidoscope of sound that is
"A Word From the Father," featuring the NuWorldMuzick Family. Mayes has a rep for showcasing powerful vocalists, and his generosity
is in evidence on "Diary of a Strong Souljah," featuring the mighty strengths of Nikki Ross on "Wait on Him," and the heartfelt
and energetic praises of Jonathon Dunn on standout track "Holy."
Mayes lays out solid Scriptural exhortation throughout,
leading the listener to straight-up church with his passionate call to surrender all. His soulful message of hope never wavers,
from the jazz-flaired "Strong Souljahs," to the encouraging "I Think I Can/I Know I Can," to the funk-infused burning track
of gratitude, "Oh I Thanq U." He meets the listener head-on with his goal of "getting you in contact with the God who deserves
your worship."
Gary Mayes makes no apologies for his intentions on the
uplifting "Diary of a Strong Souljah." "I can't please everybody," he says with confidence. "But it's cool, because now I'm
here to please God." It's that heart-felt integrity, received finally into the deepest levels of his heart, that flavors "Diary
of a Strong Souljah" through and through. And it has everything to do with making this rock solid album one of the year's
most significant Gospel offerings. Look for "Diary of a Strong Souljah" to make a big impact in stores now from Light Records.

Georgia Mass Choir-Tell It
Savoy/Malaco Records
The Georgia Mass Choir, affectionately known as ‘America’s Choir’ is poised
and ready to ‘Tell It’ with the album of the same name. Reverend Milton Biggham, Savoy Records Executive Director
as well as founder and director of this award-winning choir, returned to direct them for their first recording in three years.
The much anticipated Tell It releases the title track as its first single
to national radio this week. The full album releases to retail in the fall.
Reverend Milton Biggham, sometimes referred to as the ‘King
of Gospel Choirs’ for his invaluable and expansive contribution to the world of gospel choir music, is credited for
discovering stand-out gospel artists Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin through his direction in their work with both the
Georgia Mass and The New York Restoration Choirs respectively; Franklin enjoyed his first hit with “Joy” and McClurkin’s
debut single, “Speak To My Heart” also claimed the top of the charts.
Biggham’s biography reads like a ‘Who’s
Who’ of gospel music, though he is most widely recognized for his work as Gospel Music Director of The Georgia Mass
Choir for both the platinum-selling soundtrack and the award-winning motion picture The
Preacher’s Wife with Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington.
During the promotion of the movie, he traveled with The

Joann Rosario-Joyous Salvation
Zomba Gospel
On her 3rd
CD, Joyous Salvation, pure happiness and wonderment pours out of every
lyric Joann Rosario sings. A passionate worshipper, Rosario
maintains that trademark here - illuminating her worship with reverence on tracks such as "Beautiful Son" and "You Are Holy";
love on the soulful "More Than Anything"; and gratitude on the bouncy "Traces" and the upbeat "Glory to You" - which, along
with "Restore to Me" -is currently enjoying radio airplay.
Producers Aaron W. Lindsey (Israel
Houghton, Martha Munizzi, Marvin Sapp), Fred Jerkins (Brandy, Virtue)
and Chris Rodriquez (Salvador,
Keith Urban) contribute to the sonic variety on Joyous Salvation,
and Rosario co-wrote 99% of the disk. "The writing process on this album was very special for me. I know I didn't
write these songs! They were written by the precious Holy Spirit and I heard them during times of prayer and seeking the Lord,"
says Rosario. "My co-writers were also in the
same flow, so the writing came easily. I don't really feel like I was in control of this album. God was literally in
control and that brings me great joy." For Joann Rosario, Joyous Salvation
is much more than just the CD's title - it is a declaration of independence from a life lived far below the joyous one God
has promised. "It's about living a righteous life. It's about living in obedience and sacrifice; it's about giving
and loving people and truly being free from sin," says Joann. "Together, this is what I call ‘Joyous Salvation'. Living that type of life is a life without worry. And even if something
does go wrong, it's okay because you know that God is first in your life and you're seeking Him. You just wait for Him to
show up. Just wait on your miracle. That's ‘Joyous Salvation'".

Dijon-A Kid's Point of View
Zomba Gospel
There's a saying that goes, "Children should be seen, not
heard." But in the case of 14-year-old singer Dijon,
the more appropriate verse would be, "...and a child shall lead them" - them, in this case, being young folks in Christ. Because
at such a tender age, Dijon has the right voice, the right
message and the right music to make a powerful and impacting difference on young people starved for positive images yet intolerant
of "wack" music tracks. This is why Dijon is marching straight
to the front ranks as a "True Soldier for God." The proof is on dazzling display within Dijon's
amazing recording debut, A Kid's Point of View.
The 10-track A Kid's Point of View is a spirited smorgasbord
of soul-stirring songs - delivered with fervent reverence via the voice of Dijon.
The material ranges from songs of devotion and praise like "Worthy Lamb," "Real Love" and "I Know Better" to more bumpin'
contemporary jams like "He is Lord," "Give Praise" and "I Wanna Be More Like Him." The delicate strategy at hand is to introduce
someone as special as Dijon in the wisest way possible. Producer
Todd (Boogie) Muhammad - whose clients range from black soul superstar Charlie Wilson to white teen sensation Aaron Carter
- chose to start with a penetrating song that speaks more to earthly troubles many young people face today - that of parents
fighting, separating and divorcing. That song is the album's title track, "A Kid's Point of View."
Born December 19, 1992 in South Carolina,
Dijon Prioleau started singing at the age of 3, mastering "Yes Jesus Loves Me" before he could recite his ABCs. This is a
direct result of the musical family he was blessed to. Dijon
was surrounded by natural church singers. He took his first church solo at age 8 in front of the congregation at the Bethlehem Baptist Church singing "You Said That You Are My Sheep." His grandmother, Charlotte Prioleau,
instructed him not to sing through his nose but from his gut and through his heart. "You have to sing with passion," she would
say, "and if you're going to sing gospel, you need to know the Bible."
Dijon, a brilliant 14-year-old singer/songwriter from South
Carolina, is being hailed as the music industry’s next young superstar. Dijon has been compared to gospel music greats in their youth but, he has a unique style
and talent to share with his audience. Kollosul Entertainment, a music company founded by Todd (Boogie) Muhammad, discovered
Dijon after an audition in Columbia, South Carolina. Dijon was
a winner in so many ways- talent, maturity, and as a vocalist. His handsome looks and great character made him too attractive
to pass over. Dijon’s mother (Kim) and father (Daryl)
provided him with a spiritual background as well as the opportunity to develop his talent in church performances from the
tender age of 8. Dijon is the embodiment of Y.O. Gospel (youth-oriented
gospel music), and his songs explore a kid dealing with teen issues by having a deep belief in God, encouraging a strong belief
in the message of Jesus Christ. Dijon’s voice and personality
are dynamic and original with a smooth edge. It's amazing to hear such an anointed, powerful and passionate voice in such
a graceful and self possessed young man. We hope that Dijon’s
message will reveal why we have such faith in this young man. We know that you will agree that Dijon will soon be the superstar he was born to be. Kollosul Entertainment/Zomba Gospel is
so very proud to bring Dijon to your attention.

Marvin Sapp-Thristy
Verity/Zomba Gospel
Multiple Stellar Award-winner and Grammy-nominee and perennial
gospel music favorite, Marvin Sapp, returns with Thirsty,
arguably the career-defining CD and DVD releases of his solo career. He has succeeded in establishing himself as one of the
most recognizable voices in gospel music through his solo work, and of course as a member of the influential gospel group
Commissioned. Sapp declared himself "not a singer who can preach, but rather a preacher who just happens to sing," and he
does both with ease on Thirsty.
The title is based
on scripture, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Sapp
spends the lion's share of his time on the road, traveling around the world, preaching the word of God to anyone who will
hear him. During these extensive travels, Sapp has seen vast differences in how people worship and revere God. He's seen a
difference in how God dispenses His grace, anointing, and power to those who humbly and eagerly seek Him and His glory.
Drastic
times call for drastic measures, and the world that we live in needs to turn back to God. Thirsty is a clarion call for those
who yearn after God's own heart.
For Thirsty, Sapp
teamed up with one the industry's most promising up-and-coming producers. Aaron Lindsey (Israel & New Breed, Martha Munizzi),
the multi-talented Myron Butler and members of his 2007 Stellar Award-winning choir, Levi, along with members of 2007 Grammy
Award-winning New Breed all joined forces in what is arguably the most innovative mix of talent the industry has seen in years.
The result is a compelling audio & video release with broad reach and large scope.

DA Truth-Open Book
Cross Movement Records
Each of us is writing a book. The question is: how does
your life read? In his third album Open Book, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. asks, “Are you living for One before many or for many before One?”
He provokes us to pursue “Open Book” living - Jesus consumed, truth driven, purpose filled and transparent lifestyles
in full view of the world around us (2 Corinthians 3:2; Matthew 5:14-15).
Building on the foundation of his debut
and sophomore albums, Moment of Truth and The
Faith, the 2007 Stellar Award-winner unpacks what it means to make God the priority and people the assignment.
In a package of scintillating lyrics and electrifying tracks, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. depicts the concept of living a visible
faith through intentional transparency.
Da’ T.R.U.T.H. threads the double entendre of “living for One
before many” throughout each track, challenging us to put God before others (first), honoring Him in our everyday choices
before (in front of) a witnessing world. Gospel singer Tye Tribbett joins Da' T.R.U.T.H. on the song “Who Am I?”
- challenging us to examine the narrative of our lives and ensure that each day is scripted with the precision of purpose,
the power of passion and the focus of a godly legacy. In “Man Up,” Da’ T.R.U.T.H. reminds men that “manhood
and Christlikeness are synonymous,” while in “Rose” he fuses Latin string guitar chords with the enrapturing
vocals of guest Lisa McClendon to reaffirm the beauty and worth of a godly woman. On the soulful “Every Day,”
Da’ T.R.U.T.H. maps out the path to fulfilling our purpose.
Open Book
will excite us musically, while challenging us to become radical Christians - impacting the world for the Kingdom
of Christ in whatever context we find ourselves.
A graduate of
The Institute of Jewish Studies and Philadelphia Biblical University, Da' T.R.U.T.H., born Emanuel Lee Lambert, Jr., has been
devoted to urban missions since the age of 16. As a rapper/urban missionary, he is on a mission to impact the “culture”
